31 Things To Do At The 2016 Bucks County Show : No. 19 - see the Farmers Bloodhounds in action

The Farmers’ Bloodhounds were taken over by Mr Brian Temple and his family in 2009. The spirit of riding to hounds in this manner (hunting the “Clean Boot” ie the scent of man) continues with today’s Mastership of Mr Brian Temple and Mrs Anna Hall. Sunday hunting makes it possible to ensure there is no clash with the local fox hound packs. The pace is generally quicker and there is more jumping to be done, but for those who are less brave, a second field master provides an easier route across
country. All followers, landowners and guests, both mounted and on foot, are invited to the “after meet” tea to share the fun and experience of the day.
The country hunted stretches from Northamptonshire through Warwickshire, Worcestershire and down into the Cotswolds. The Farmers’ Bloodhounds welcomes friends old and new and are renowned for their hospitable and caring attitude towards riders and followers.
